Theme of the Month: Alternative Pop

WE ARE BACK!

This month, Live @ The Node dives into the vibrant world of alternative pop — where nostalgia meets modern soundscapes and emotion leads the way.

Pom Femme welcomes the audience into their warm, analog universe. With shimmering retro textures, playful hooks, and a timeless pop sensibility, the duo crafts songs that feel both nostalgic and refreshingly new.

SI EVOL brings heartfelt indie pop shaped by the acoustic spirit of the 1970s and dreamy synth atmospheres. Moving effortlessly between intimate songwriting and expansive soundscapes, their music leaves you with a dreamy feeling.

Bring your close ones and enjoy an evening of pop in its' many shades!

ACT 1

Pom Femme

ACT 1

The Swedish duo Pom femme is like stepping straight into a perfumed vintage boutique on Rue Saint-Honoré, wearing a pair of well-worn wooden clogs: clever pop with a glittering touch of French decadence and a wink to times gone by. Behind the project are Philippa Magnusson and Michelle Amkoff, a Swedish pair who, following their debut EP Telenovela, have managed to win over P3 and P4, charm critics, and spark curiosity far beyond Sweden’s borders.

On March 28, they come to us at the Node with a refreshing dose of vintage pop delivered with both sharpness and silk gloves—equal parts sophisticated and playful.

SI EVOL

Act 2

SI EVOL was founded in Stockholm by Malte Höglund and Peteris Strante. Since their first single release in 2024, the duo has become known for a consistent sound centered around Malte’s acoustic guitar and Peteris’s vocals.

SI EVOL is a project that consciously highlights lyrics and music carrying frequencies of love and freedom. This is delivered through an acoustic, 1970s-inspired soundscape with elements of dreamy synths and captivating textures. Their music has gained them international attention and a nomination at the Denniz Pop Awards 2024 for Newcomer of the Year.

If you haven’t already figured out the meaning of the name SI EVOL, it’s “LOVE IS” spelled backwards; it also means “it evolves” in Italian.

WHY LIVE @ THE NODE

Live @ The Node is our recurring live format, curated and held on the last Saturday of every month. Free to attend, intentional by design.

It is a structured, scalable cultural platform built around something simple but powerful, real human connection.

Each edition is shaped with care:
→ Carefully selected artists and cohesive line-ups
→ A structured, experience-led program flow
→ Moments that extend beyond the stage and into the room
→ A curated audience of creators, collaborators and culture-shapers

This is not about volume. It is about atmosphere. It is about being present in a room that feels alive.

Live @ The Node exists to:
→ Give creators a stage that feels meaningful, not transactional
→ Activate and strengthen a community that returns because it belongs
→ Create a predictable and measurable format for long-term partnerships
→ Build a cultural platform designed for sustainable growth and emotional depth

Because when people feel something, they remember it. When they feel connected, they return. And when structure meets emotion, momentum builds.

Live @ The Node is where intention meets energy. Where culture compounds. Where people don’t just attend, they belong.
